Absolutely great news about Sam’s progress – although I understand the frustration of recovery being so slower than we would wish for brain damage cases like Sam and Chris.

 I told Chris’ mom Maureen (funny name coincidence) about your last email and she was very happy. She left last Friday and she was going to the most beautiful churches in our neighborhood and prayed for Sam, she lit up candles for him on the day of his surgery… Sam always gave us hope ever since I got in touch with Rebecca for the first time, you guys please know how comforting and great you have been to all of us in our most difficult moments by giving us hope. I will never be able to thank you enough.

 My sister and her family come next week to be with me and I am taking the week off, we plan to go to Westminster Abbey (maybe to the Vatican, but not sure yet). I will lit up candles for Sam as well, you can tell you that he has candles for him on the oldest and most beautiful churches in London
