Fine.  It's been so long, I don't even know what to say.

This stinks.

Anthony just looked over my shoulder, which made me have to erase the whole line and a half that I'd composed.

And  I'm reading a book that is just amazing and mind blowing, the writing is incredible and then it makes everything I write read like mud.

Or worms...

something equally disgusting.

I'm tired, too.

That doesn't help when you must write something about anything.

Did I mention that Eli is screaming and climbing up the side of chairs and I have to keep getting up and pulling him off, like taffy. That distracts me, too.

I might be ADD, so that wouldn't help.

Whatever.

Hmm...so now onto my brother...

*Sam went to California to talk to some people about being a spokesperson for Bio-something (Bionet?  Bionest?  I never get it right--oh,my mom just told me--in a very exasperated voice, bioNESS, b-i-o-n-e-s-s.  Yeah, like I can't spell).  So he went to a seminar for people that want to be spokespeople (I think) and met other people with head injuries, strokes, Nile virus, MS and spinal cord problems but, actually, I'm not really sure if they met at the seminar.  For all I know, he ran into all these randomly injured folks at the local supermarket.  No one tells me anything.  But  there was a guy who had a spinal cord injury that used something that this company makes and now ran in a marathon.  But then my dad said, "No, Maur, he did not run in any marathon." And my mom huffed loudly and said, "You don't know, Jim, because you weren't even there."  Then my dad guffaws loudly and my mom continues to cast irritated looks in his direction.  So really, in the end, I have no idea what happened, other than Sam went to California.

(This man formally known as the guy with the spinal cord injury really did run in a marathon.  My mom said that he has parachuted out of airplanes and done other really dangerous things.  Eight months ago he started using a bioness thingie on his leg (like Sam) and now he can do all sorts of activities that I can't even do.  Maybe I should get one of those contraptions.

*My mom said that Sam might be on the Today Show or maybe Oprah, but, then again, I get conflicting reports about this information.  I'm not sure if it fact, real possibility or a "wouldn't that be nice" kind of idea.  Sam WAS on a local TV program last night, though most of us missed it.  My dad was going to tape it, but couldn't figure out how to work the VCR.  No, I'm serious.  He did try to call me to see if I could figure it out, and that, my friend, is even funnier.

*Sam is now walking with a cane in therapy (rather than the speedy black walker).  First  time for that, folks.  Though, from a sister's point a view, a cane is not as easy to run and jump onto as a walker with smooth, wheelie wheels.  Don't jump on a cane.  It hurts.

*The miracle man is currently playing Wii with Jeremy and Anthony.

*I am sitting in front of the computer and typing this really bad post and feeling embarrassed in advance for how stupid this all sounds.  I think I need some coffee.  Just a minute, I'll be right back.

*I am now sitting in front of the computer with a cup of coffee.

*My mom is laying on the couch.

*My dad is watching a meaningless news show.

*Heather is somewhere doing something.

*And you are reading this post, wondering what other more meaningful ways you could be spending your time.

And that, my friends, is the end of this update.

I might add more later, when the caffeine kicks in.  But, for now, I'll just take a little nap.
