Sam,

We have not met--perhaps we will one day, but I am your half-uncle, son of your Grandpa Amby (Amberson).  Your sister Rebecca and I have corresponded some via email.  We have been following your dramatic recovery via the efforts of your aunt Jayne and sisters and admire your courage, efforts and apparent good humor during this time--as well as the love and dedication of your mother, father and sisters.

We wish for your well-being and you are in our thoughts.

Love,

Uncle Pat and Aunt Louise Driscoll

Sam,

What a blessing and miracle you're still with us!  This is a special celebration time for what God has done for you and all of your hard work.  You are truly an amazing young man and an inspiration to us all.  Your determination and positive outlook are a blessing to us.  We're so glad God's plan for you on earth isn't finished yet.  What an incredible year!  We all love you so much!  We look forward to your complete recovery and to see what god has in store for you.  Words can't express how much we care for you.

Love,

Dave, Col, Alaina and Alexander

Dear cousins all,

...We can't tell you how proud we are of ALL of you who have taken such loving good care of Sam and kept us so well informed the whole way.  It takes a village but in this case it took a family.  You all did it together.  You made the miracle happen.

Well, til we see you in person--so long for now and have a Happy Valentine's Day.  What  a reason to celebrate you all have!

Love,

Lucille Eastman (Phillips) Lidbeck
