Heather: Thanks for sending me this wonderful summary of Sam's progress. It is overwhelming. I focused on one item where you said do something for someone else without any particular reason. My wife does that all the time. I am very fortunate to have her as a life companion. Tonight we are having over for dinner a couple one of whom recently had surgery- we thought it would help her to have a prepared meal, and another friend whose wife is away seeing her grand-daughter. Yesterday, we went to a series of Portugese gardens in Bristol RI to see how they produce their special crops such as saffron. We have a large Portugese population in the immediate surrounding area.  Please give my best wishes to Sam, your Mom, and the entire family. Marshall Kadin
