The day of wonderboy started out with pudding (everyone's day should start out with pudding). Tomorrow morning he will have a swallow study (to make sure no fluid/stuff is going into lungs instead of tummy). If the study is good he will start eating three small meals a day of soft stuff.
He rode a bike in therapy today and they made flash cards of the periodic table (he got them all right-like I need to tell that part, this is Sam after all!).
He had a rough night with his lungs last night but my mom and the staff worked through it and he's okay.
Along with being woken up throughout the night with lung issues he also woke my mom up to talk about going into the basement at home. He has many plans as to how to get down there.
Most recent idea:
Get a toboggan and ropes and lower him in through the window...yeah, that would be easy. My mom's response, "And who exactly would get your big bony self out?" Sam's response was much laughing and promising to go to sleep.
He has been begging for sisters and girlfriend today (I just left yesterday). Much to Sam's surprise Liz (girlfriend) and her mom Anna showed up. Within minutes Aunt Jayne, Mommy Del and Katie arrived. Since the guest shave arrived he is content and always the host, keeping all entertained.
Pray for the swallow study and his lovely large lungs.
