I have posted information about the research Sam was doing in Michigan and at Harvard before the accident (this helped secure his title of Top Student Biochemist in the world in 2003.)  He was (and is) very passionate about this...especially since LyP is the disease that Heath was diagnosed with in 2001.  You can find this information on the left sidebar under "Sam's Research".
