Monday, February 28th, 2005 (Two weeks since the accident)

Sam is doing good so far today.  He had 100% oxygen all night.  He actually had a stable night!  They might give him a cat scan, but not until he's more stable.  So many things have been happening outside the hospital.  Evelyn (Bec's daughter) has been sick since the 24th (she was staying with Jayne and Katie--Bec)  Maddy (Heather's youngest daughter) also got hurt.  She had a flag in her mouth and someone rang the doorbell.  She was going to tell Heather and, BAM!  Maddy ran right into her and the flag jabbed Maddy right in the back of the throat.  She started bleeding.  So they went to the hospital.  On the way back from the hospital Heather ran out of gas, so Mommy Del had to bring her gas.  Col (Sam's cousin) and Alaina (Col's daughter) have had the flu, but they are better now.  Katie and Tony went to the Father-Daughter dance at school.

Sam's right eye is starting to react, when opened.  His chest xrays are good.

**This was such a hard time!  Heath and I were living at the hospital (literally), along with my mom and dad.  Heath's kids were staying with Rob  and my Evie was living with Jayne and Katie (until Eve threw up all over Jayne and got her sick).  We both didn't see our kids for days on end.
